Who are we?
Sri Aurobindo
Anusilan Society (SAAS) is a registered organization which has been registered under
West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 on 13.8.1991
It has been registered under FCRA Act on 3rd January, 1992.
It has received IT Exemption under the IT Act, 35AC on 1995 for its
rural based Project Vermitechnology. It is exempted under 12AA & 80G
IT Exemption IT Act, Govt. of India.
It has been awarded “Meghnath Saha Puraskar” for 1999 from the
Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of West Bengal for being
considered as the best voluntary organization in West Bengal in
science popularization.
It is recognized as a “Scientific and Industrial Organization" (SIRO)
by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR)
under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
It has got 22 branches in 9 states in India.
It is approved for “Person working with the Disability” Act by
the Commissioner, Disability Cell, Dept. of Social Welfare, Govt. of
West Bengal.
